Blue Water

Matt hasn't seen or spoken to his parents in over ten years. When he finds out they have both been killed in a car accident he must go to the town of Blue Water where he is reunited with his younger brother, Jake. Matt and Jake both left home when they were seventeen, and had a difficult relationship with their parents. The final will of their parent's will put the relationship between the two brothers to the test.

My take

A heavy-hearted homecoming story about fractured family bonds and unfinished business. When two estranged brothers reunite after a decade apart following their parents' death, old wounds resurface—perfect for when you're ready to sit with complicated emotions and explore what it means to forgive.
