Night Swim

A former baseball player forced into early retirement by a degenerative illness moves with his wife and two children into a house with a backyard pool. Hoping it will aid his recovery and bring the family together, they soon encounter a malevolent force tied to the property’s dark past.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like straightforward supernatural horror, eerie water-based scares, and family-in-peril stories, but Not for you if you need sharp writing, deep mythology, or consistently intense scares.
