Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome

A wandering survivor arrives at a harsh desert settlement ruled by competing powers and becomes entangled in its dangerous politics. After being cast into the wasteland, he encounters a secluded colony of children and is drawn into their struggle for a safer future.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like eccentric post-apocalyptic adventures, colorful desert worlds, and big stunt-driven finales; Not for you if you want the darker, grittier intensity of the earlier films.
