Desert Son

Phillip, a high schooler from an abusive family, is left for dead in the middle of the desert. A pair of teenage orphans from a nearby ghost town rescue Phillip, and waste no time inducting him into their gang. Petty crimes are a means of surviving the unforgiving terrain, but when one of their sprees ends in tragedy, the three renegades will have to survive each other.

My take

A raw, intense survival story about broken kids finding refuge in each other. Gritty and unflinching, this is for viewers drawn to stories about outsiders forming their own family in the margins.
