Lonesome Dove

Two longtime friends and former Texas Rangers set out on one last adventure, driving a vast herd of cattle from Texas to Montana. Along the way, they gather an unlikely crew and face the hardships of the journey, while the changing relationships among the travelers become as important as the destination.

My take

You may enjoy this sprawling Western for its memorable characters, strong performances, and heartfelt friendships; Not for you if you prefer brisk pacing or a tightly focused plot.
