Texas Rangers

A decade after the Civil War, a Texas governor asks a veteran lawman to create a new Ranger company along the Mexican border. The inexperienced recruits must learn policing and firearms while confronting dangerous bandits threatening communities across the frontier.

My take

You may enjoy this if you want a fast, scenic Western with frequent shootouts and a young ensemble, but Not for you if you prefer deep characters, careful history, or the richer storytelling of Open Range.
