Last Tango in Paris

CriticsCritics: 80
AudienceAudience: 6.9

A recently widowed American meets a young Parisian woman while both are viewing an empty apartment. They begin an anonymous sexual relationship governed by strict rules about keeping their identities and personal lives separate, but their intense encounters gradually test those boundaries.

My take

You may appreciate this if you seek challenging, provocative relationship dramas like The Dreamers, but it is Not for you if explicit sexual violence, bleak characters, or deliberately slow pacing are dealbreakers.
