Last Tango in Paris

A recently widowed American meets a young Parisian woman while they are both viewing an empty apartment. They begin an anonymous sexual relationship governed by strict rules, but grief, desire, control, and the pressures of their lives outside the apartment make the arrangement increasingly difficult.

My take

You may appreciate this challenging, provocative drama for its intense performances and exploration of grief, desire, and control; Not for you if you dislike explicit sexuality, slow pacing, or disturbing non-consensual content.
