Jacob's Ladder

After losing his brother in combat, a trauma doctor returns home from Afghanistan and is drawn into a disturbing web of paranoia. As he searches for answers, unsettling visions and fractured memories make it increasingly difficult to separate reality from illusion.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like psychological horror, supernatural mysteries, and stories shaped by trauma; Not for you if you want clear answers, brisk pacing, or the intensity of The Grudge.
