Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die

A mysterious visitor claiming to come from the future arrives at a Los Angeles diner and recruits a carefully chosen group of unhappy patrons. Together, they embark on a dangerous overnight mission to prevent a rogue artificial intelligence from threatening the world, while police close in and the recruits’ troubled pasts emerge.

My take

You’ll probably enjoy this if you like unpredictable, darkly comic science fiction with eccentric characters and social commentary; Not for you if you prefer grounded stories, restrained humor, or neatly explained plots.
