Field of Lost Shoes

A group of teenage military cadets, largely sheltered from the Civil War, are called into action when enemy forces threaten their region. Forced to leave behind schoolboy routines and personal concerns, they face the fear, sacrifice, and harsh realities of battle.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like earnest Civil War dramas, youthful camaraderie, and emotionally charged historical battles; Not for you if you prefer polished production, brisk pacing, or romance-free war stories.
