Aces High
A naive young officer straight from school arrives on the Western front to fight the air war against the Germans. However, the life expectancy of rookie pilots is not very good.
My takeA sobering dive into the brutal reality of aerial combat during WWI, following a fresh-faced pilot as he confronts the deadly gap between training and survival. Visceral and unflinching—this is war stripped of romance, capturing the weight of inexperience against impossible odds.
