Centurion

In A.D. 117, a Roman soldier survives a devastating raid on a frontier fort and joins a powerful military force marching into northern Britain. Their mission is to destroy the Picts and their leader, but the campaign soon becomes a desperate struggle for survival in hostile wilderness.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you want a fast, brutal historical survival chase with bleak landscapes and relentless tension; Not for you if you prefer nuanced characters, historical accuracy, or the grander sweep of Gladiator II.
