Commandos

During WWII, an Italian-American commando outfit parachutes behind enemy lines to infiltrate a North African camp held by the Italians. After securing the camp the soldiers are told to hold it until an American battalion arrives, but things go terribly wrong.

My take

Gritty war cinema that grabs you from the first jump. A tense, boots-on-the-ground WWII thriller about soldiers holding their ground when everything falls apart—built for anyone craving authentic combat tension without the modern polish.
