Loosely inspired by the Battle of Thermopylae, this action epic follows a Spartan king who leads a small force against a vastly larger Persian army. Framed as a stylized fantasy on historical themes, it emphasizes defiance, sacrifice, and spectacular combat over factual accuracy.

My take

You may enjoy this if you want a highly stylized, violent action spectacle with comic-book visuals and heroic intensity; Not for you if you prefer nuanced characters, historical accuracy, or restrained storytelling.
