Alien: Resurrection

Two hundred years after her death, a woman is cloned by scientists seeking to create a powerful weapon from an alien creature. When the experiment escapes containment, she joins a crew of smugglers in a desperate effort to stop the threat from reaching Earth.

My take

You may enjoy this as a gory, fast-paced sci-fi monster ride with dark humor, but Not for you if you want the atmosphere and suspense of Prometheus or Alien: Covenant.
