Wrong Turn

A young woman and her friends set out for a wilderness hike, but ignore warnings and stray from the marked route. They soon enter territory controlled by a secluded mountain community, forcing the group to confront deadly dangers and their own assumptions about the people they encounter.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like brutal, twisty wilderness horror with a fresh premise, but Not for you if you want a straightforward sequel resembling the 2003 original or dislike heavy social commentary.
