When Evil Lurks

Two brothers discover a demonic infection spreading from a nearby farmhouse and try to remove its host from their rural community. When they fail to follow the required rules, their actions unleash a rapidly growing wave of possessions, forcing them to confront an evil that can appear almost anywhere.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you want bleak, inventive, extremely graphic possession horror with sustained tension; Not for you if you prefer subtle scares, polished logic, or lighter films like The Black Phone.
