Tropic Thunder

A group of self-absorbed actors begin filming an ambitious war movie, but spiraling costs and a stubborn director send them into a dangerous jungle location. Their staged military adventure takes an unexpectedly real turn when they encounter violent criminals and must rely on more than acting skills.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like bold, raunchy satire, explosive action, and performers committing fully to ridiculous roles, especially in the spirit of Team America: World Police; Not for you if sensitive humor or uneven gags wear you down.
