This Is Going to Hurt

A junior doctor works in obstetrics and gynaecology while juggling exhausting shifts, difficult patients, strained relationships, and the intense demands of life inside an overstretched public health service. Dark humour sits alongside raw, emotional situations as the pressures of work begin to affect everyday life.

My take

You’ll probably enjoy this if you like intense hospital dramas with dark humour, emotional honesty, and social commentary; Not for you if graphic childbirth scenes, bleak stories, or abrasive central characters are deal-breakers.
