The Wind

An innocent Virginia woman named Letty moves to a western prairie ranch and is faced with an inhospitable environment and her cousin's jealous wife. Forced into a loveless marriage, she gradually warms to her new husband, but her fragile happiness is threatened by a mysterious visitor who takes refuge in their home.

My take

A haunting silent-era Western about isolation, desire, and the fragility of new beginnings. For viewers drawn to atmospheric period dramas where internal emotional turmoil matters more than plot—slow-burn storytelling that lingers.
