The Vicar of Dibley

A progressive woman becomes the new vicar of a small English village, surprising residents who expected someone very different. As she settles into parish life, she navigates eccentric locals, community events, clashing viewpoints, and the everyday challenges of serving a close-knit rural community.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you prefer warm, character-driven British sitcoms with gentle religious satire and broad humor; Not for you if you want sharp, subversive comedy like The Black Adder.
