Ballykissangel

A young British priest settles into a rural Irish community where the church and local pub are central to village life. In a place where everyone knows one another’s business and has an opinion, he finds himself caught up in the everyday complications, humor, and relationships of the close-knit community.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like character-led small-town stories with gentle humor, everyday drama, and a warm community feel; not for you if you want fast-paced action or spectacular thrills.
