The Yeti

When an oil tycoon and a celebrated adventurer disappear in remote northern Alaska, a specially chosen rescue team heads into the frozen wilderness to find them. But the team soon discovers that the harsh conditions are only part of the danger, as they enter the territory of a powerful creature.

My take

You may enjoy this slow-burning, old-school creature feature if you like practical effects and retro horror; Not for you if you need deep characters, relentless scares, or sharply unpredictable storytelling.
