Audience

A teenager returns each summer with her family to a beach house, where familiar friendships and routines shift as she turns sixteen. As first love, heartbreak, and family relationships come into focus, she faces a summer that changes how she sees herself and the people around her.

My take

You may enjoy this if you want a light, emotional teen romance with a dreamy beach setting and coming-of-age themes; Not for you if you prefer fresh plots or nuanced character development.
