Summerween

A former circus clown escapes a mental institution and returns to an abandoned mansion, where unsuspecting high schoolers are celebrating a Summerween party. A police officer must race to protect his daughter and the other partygoers as danger closes in.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like straightforward, party-set horror with a creepy clown and escalating danger; Not for you if familiar slasher setups and intense threats are not your style.
