The Straight Story

After learning that his estranged brother has suffered a serious stroke, an elderly farmer sets out from Iowa to Wisconsin to make amends. Without a car or driver's license, he travels slowly across the countryside on a riding lawnmower, meeting strangers and reflecting on family, regret, and forgiveness.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy gentle, reflective journeys such as Temple Grandin, but it’s Not for you if you need fast pacing, frequent action, or a densely plotted story.
