The Silent Revolution

In 1956 East Germany, a high-school class responds to news of the Hungarian uprising with a brief, seemingly harmless act of solidarity. Authorities interpret the gesture as political defiance, placing the students, their families, and their teachers under intense pressure as they struggle with loyalty, fear, and conscience.

My take

You’ll enjoy this thoughtful, emotionally charged historical drama if you like stories about youthful solidarity, moral courage, and life under oppression; not for you if you prefer fast-paced entertainment or lighter themes.
