The Princess Bride

A young woman and her true love face a series of dangers and unlikely obstacles in a playful fairy-tale adventure. As a kidnapping, a determined pursuit, and a colorful band of strangers complicate their path, romance, daring action, and comic twists shape their quest for happiness.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like fairy tales with witty humor, swashbuckling adventure, and genuine romance; Not for you if you prefer serious fantasy or grounded action, as its playful, knowingly theatrical style may feel cheesy.
