The Nightingale

In 1825 Tasmania, an Irish convict pursues a British soldier responsible for a devastating act of violence against her family. She reluctantly joins forces with an Aboriginal tracker, and together they travel through the wilderness while confronting trauma, prejudice, and the brutal realities of colonial rule.

My take

You may appreciate this if you value challenging historical dramas such as High Ground or Nitram, but Not for you if extreme violence, sexual violence, and bleak, unrelenting stories are difficult to watch.
