Ladyhawke

A thief escapes from a medieval prison and becomes entangled with a wandering warrior and a woman bound by a cruel curse. As the pair seek a way to end their enchantment and challenge a corrupt bishop, their unlikely companion is drawn into a dangerous journey through a world of castles, guards, and shifting forms.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like romantic fantasy adventures with medieval danger, a touch of humor, and an unusual curse; not for you if dated music, slow stretches, or shifting tones are dealbreakers.
