The New Daughters of Joshua Cabe

Joshua Cabe, an old-timer, recruits three women with checkered pasts—a former prostitute, a pickpocket, and an ex-con—to pose as his daughters to secure a Wyoming land claim. When a man learns their secret and is later found dead, Joshua is convicted of murder. His "daughters" plan a jailbreak, while his partner seeks legal avenues to save him.

My take

A scrappy, irreverent Western comedy where misfits and outcasts pull off an audacious con—then have to break their benefactor out of prison. Charming, fast-paced, and full of heart for anyone who loves underdog stories with personality.
