After losing their apartment, a couple buys an apparently beautiful mansion at a bargain price. Soon, costly repairs and absurd household disasters threaten their finances and put growing pressure on their relationship, turning their dream home into a chaotic renovation nightmare.

My take

You’ll probably enjoy this if you like broad 1980s comedies, slapstick disasters, and charming couple dynamics; Not for you if repetitive physical gags or uneven romantic drama wear out their welcome.
