Panic Room

A newly divorced mother and her young daughter move into a New York brownstone, only to face three intruders on their first night. They retreat into a fortified panic room, but the sanctuary becomes the center of a tense cat-and-mouse struggle as the burglars pursue what is hidden inside.

You’ll like this if you enjoy fast-paced home-invasion thrillers with relentless tension and a strong parent-child bond; Not for you if contrived plots, predictable turns, or occasional absurdities bother you.
