The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

A carnival troupe takes in a mysterious man and joins its immortal leader in a dangerous contest against the devil. To fulfill their bargain, they must persuade five souls to enter a magical mirror world, while protecting the leader’s daughter from the wager’s consequences.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like surreal, visually inventive fantasies such as The Brothers Grimm, but Not for you if you prefer clear plots, consistent logic, or polished effects.
