The Goonies

A group of young friends follows a treasure map in hopes of saving their homes from demolition. Their adventure leads them through dangerous underground passages, where they must stay ahead of escaped criminals who are pursuing the same prize.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you like nostalgic, fast-moving kids’ adventures such as Home Alone or The Sandlot; Not for you if loud characters, slapstick humor, and dated storytelling quickly become irritating.
