The Expendables

A veteran mercenary team accepts a dangerous assignment to overthrow a dictator on a small South American island. While scouting the target, the team discovers that the conflict is more complicated than expected, forcing them to decide how far they are willing to go to complete the mission.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you want loud, nostalgic action, tough-guy humor, and a star-packed ensemble in the spirit of Rambo: First Blood Part II; Not for you if you need a strong story or subtle drama.
