The Driver's Seat
A mentally-disturbed spinster experiences a series of bizarre encounters in Rome as she searches for someone she feels she'll know--when she finds him.
My takeA disorienting psychological portrait of obsession and alienation set against the backdrop of Rome. Elizabeth Taylor delivers a mesmerizing performance as a woman adrift in her own fractured reality—the kind of film that unsettles and lingers long after it ends.
