The Cave

A team of expert underwater cave explorers descends into a vast, unexplored network in Romania after scientists discover signs of a new ecosystem. When a rockslide seals their route out, the trapped explorers must navigate deeper into the darkness while avoiding a dangerous species that sees them as prey.

My take

You may enjoy this as a straightforward, claustrophobic creature feature with underwater exploration and pulpy thrills; Not for you if you want strong character work, originality, or sustained suspense like The Descent.
