When secretive new neighbors move into a suburban street, an ordinary vacationing homeowner and his friends become convinced that something sinister is happening next door. Their increasingly frantic investigation turns everyday neighborhood suspicion into a darkly comic series of escalating mishaps.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like offbeat 1980s comedies, eccentric neighbors, and a playful horror edge reminiscent of Twilight Zone: The Movie; Not for you if you prefer tight plots, subtle humor, or serious scares.
