Little Children

In a tense suburban community, two dissatisfied married parents begin drifting toward an affair while a convicted sex offender’s return fuels fear and outrage among local families. Their lives become entangled with those of a troubled former police officer and others struggling with guilt, desire, judgment, and responsibility.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy bleak, character-driven suburban dramas such as Revolutionary Road, but Not for you if you prefer uplifting stories, sympathetic characters, or straightforward plots.
