The Blue Lagoon

After a shipwreck, two children and a ship’s cook reach a tropical island. When they are left alone, the children grow up together, learning to survive, build a home, and navigate changing feelings while remaining cut off from civilization.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like romantic island adventures such as Lord of the Flies, especially for its lush setting and dream-like mood; Not for you if you need fast pacing, subtle dialogue, or grounded realism.
