The Black Adder

A cynical, self-serving nobleman navigates royal power struggles and dangerous schemes in a comic reimagining of medieval British history. Assisted by an unusual pair of companions, he pursues influence and advancement while facing courtly rivalries, political obstacles, and increasingly chaotic situations.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like irreverent British historical comedy, ambitious schemers, and witty farce; Not for you if you prefer consistent humor, modern pacing, or the gentler style of Mr. Bean.
