The Big Lebowski

A laid-back Los Angeles bowler is mistaken for a wealthy man with the same name, and a ruined rug prompts him to seek compensation. Soon he is drawn into a tangled series of events involving a possible kidnapping, large sums of money, and an eccentric collection of people, while his bowling buddies offer their own unpredictable help.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like offbeat comedies, eccentric characters, and a relaxed hero swept into absurd trouble; Not for you if you prefer a clear, tightly focused plot or straightforward humor.
