The Benchwarmers

Three overlooked adults form a three-player baseball team after standing up to a group of bullying young players. They enter a tournament against little league squads, hoping to give themselves and other outsiders a chance to compete, while discovering that the experience is about more than simply winning.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like lighthearted, intentionally silly sports comedies with an underdog spirit, but Not for you if crude humor, childish slapstick, or mixed messages quickly wear thin.
