Superman III

A wealthy businessman recruits a gifted but clumsy computer programmer to create synthetic kryptonite and help seize control of vital resources. When the substance affects Superman in unexpected ways, the hero must confront a darker side of himself while balancing a return to Smallville and a dangerous computer threat.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like lighthearted superhero adventures, comic-book absurdity, and standout hero-versus-self moments; Not for you if you want the serious grandeur and focused storytelling of earlier Superman films.
