Superman III

A wealthy executive recruits a gifted but inexperienced computer programmer to create synthetic kryptonite and help control the economy. When the substance affects Superman in unexpected ways, he must face a dangerous inner conflict while reconnecting with a former school sweetheart and confronting a powerful computer.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like lighthearted, campy superhero adventures with memorable set pieces, but it is Not for you if you want the grand, serious tone of the earlier Superman films.
