Slender Man

Four high school girls in a small Massachusetts town perform a ritual to challenge a frightening legend. After one of them mysteriously disappears, the others begin questioning what happened and whether the legend may be connected.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like modern supernatural horror and ominous legends, but expect restrained scares and uneven storytelling; Not for you if you want strong characters, clear tension, or consistently frightening scenes.
