In 1927 Hollywood, a silent-film star and his longtime screen partner must adapt to talking pictures while a chorus girl enters his life. You’ll likely enjoy this if you want upbeat romance, memorable songs, energetic dancing, and playful Hollywood humor; Not for you if frequent musical numbers or an old-fashioned pace quickly wear out your patience.
