In a corrupt, hard-boiled city, several troubled figures pursue revenge, protection, or redemption. Their separate stories of crooked authorities, desperate criminals, and unlikely heroes gradually intersect as they struggle to do what they believe is right in a place ruled by violence and indifference.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy stylized crime stories, dark humor, and graphic-novel worlds like A History of Violence; Not for you if extreme violence, sexual content, or heightened dialogue are deal-breakers.
