City on Fire

An undercover cop is pressured into infiltrating a ruthless gang of jewel thieves while other officers mistake him for a criminal. As the dangerous assignment deepens, he struggles with divided loyalties, guilt over betraying people he has befriended, and pressure to choose between police work and his relationship.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you want gritty Hong Kong crime drama, conflicted undercover characters, and tense action, especially if you appreciate Reservoir Dogs; Not for you if you prefer tight pacing or restrained melodrama.
