City on Fire

An undercover cop is pressured into infiltrating a ruthless gang of jewel thieves while other officers mistake him for a criminal. As he grows close to the gang, he struggles with divided loyalties, mounting danger, and pressure from his girlfriend to choose a more stable life.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy gritty undercover thrillers, morally conflicted characters, and tense action with a raw atmosphere; Not for you if you prefer brisk pacing, polished style, or minimal melodrama.
