My take

You’ll likely enjoy Shrill if you want a funny, relatable show about confidence and self-worth, with plenty of heart, real-life pressure, and body positivity; Not for you if you dislike body-image themes or want a less divisive comedy like Work in Progress or Mozart in the Jungle.
